GATE Architecture examination is widely accepted in Colleges across India as the standard for admissions for students into Masters in Architecture and Planning courses. GATE Architecture test students in various aspects of their intellect and knowledge. GATE Architecture exams score is accepted in most of the colleges and institutes in the country, with most of the top colleges giving maximum weightage to GATE Score to some colleges fully taking into account the GATE Score only for the admission and cut off list, these institutes include the IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology), IIITs, NIDs (National Institute of Design), SPAs (School of Planning and Architecture) and other private institutes such as Amity university, Birla Institute, etc. Universities like CEPT, Ahmedabad which have their own evaluation, screening and interview process for admission for students into M.
