Architecture begins long before the entrance exam. At KUBO Architecture, preparation for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) is designed to shape the way students observe, think creatively, and express design ideas.
Guided by mentors from premier institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology, National Institutes of Technology, and School of Planning and Architecture, the program goes beyond routine coaching to develop strong visualization skills, design thinking, and architectural awareness required to succeed in Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).
With focused training, students learn to think conceptually, communicate ideas through drawing, and perform confidently under exam conditions, giving them a decisive advantage in securing admission to B.Arch programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology.

ARCHITECTURE APTITUDE TEST (aat)
Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) is a specialized entrance examination for students seeking admission to the B.Arch programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology. Only candidates who qualify JEE Advanced are eligible to appear for this test.
The exam evaluates a student’s architectural aptitude, creativity, visualization ability, spatial understanding, and design thinking—skills essential for studying architecture at the Indian Institutes of Technology.
Candidates who qualify the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) become eligible for admission to the B.Arch programs offered by select IITs through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process.
EXAM PATTERN
The AAT is conducted in two parts.
PART A- DRAWING
(OFFLINE)
Questions testing freehand drawing, visualization, and creativity.
PART B- ARCHITECTURAL APTITUDE (OFFLINE)
Questions evaluating spatial understanding, design thinking, and observation skills.
ELIGIBILITY
Admission to B.Arch through AAT requires
Candidate must qualify JEE Advanced.
Only JEE Advanced qualified candidates are allowed to register for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).
